How we began...
Sherwood Industries have been manufacturing and supplying high quality Primary classroom furniture to schools, colleges and universities since the 1960s. We operate from a factory in Nottinghamshire and use some of the latest machinery to facilitate our varied ranges. Our company policy has always been to design innovative, flexible and long lasting furniture for the Education Sector. With a life span of around 20 years our Primary classroom furniture out lives most other ranges by 10 or even 15 years, giving schools a greater return on their investment.
Our Furniture Compliance
Working towards guidelines set by the FIRA we focus on designing Primary School furniture which is not only flexible for classrooms but safe for children to use on a daily basis. Our ranges are constantly developed by our experienced in-house designers to ensure we are offering high performance solutions suitable for the growing requirements associated with furniture for classrooms.

As part of Nottinghamshire County Council's supported employment programme we are proud to offer job opportunities and training for disabled people.
